Meet your dietitian
When I was 26 I decided that I wasn’t getting the satisfaction I was craving from my career. I was working hard and advancing in positions I wasn’t passionate about. I wanted to help people be their best selves, enjoy their life, a live their full potential. To me, that starts with nourishing ourselves with food and disassembling limiting beliefs we have about our bodies. I started by taking one course at a time on weekends or in night courses until I had the credits I needed to apply to Syracuse University’s Nutrition Science Masters Program. It was a difficult but empowering choice to make to return to school full time and support myself with a part time job. I knew that if I was going back to school I needed a vision this time around. Ultimately that vision was a private practice that included continuous education, facts over diet fads, evidenced-based recommendations, and a positive attitude. I now enjoy a part time job at a Long Term Care Facility with the best residents and co-workers a gal could ask for, and a private practice that I am immensely proud of. Nutrition is my life, but when I’m not in the kitchen I’m hiking with my beautiful little family, reading, running, or doing yoga.
